After being recently featured by StartupItalia, CarpeCarbon returns to the Italian press landscape with a new recognition: inclusion in the “Top 100 Startups in Italy” selection by Forbes Italia.

This acknowledgment highlights the growing strategic importance of Direct Air Capture (DAC) and carbon removal in Italy’s innovation landscape. As climate neutrality by 2050 becomes a strategic priority across Europe, solutions capable of permanently removing CO₂ from the atmosphere are gaining increasing relevance in both industrial and policy discussions.

The feature appears in the print edition of Forbes Italia, currently available at newsstands across Italy.

Below is the company description as published in the magazine:

CarpeCarbon is the first Italian startup dedicated to Direct Air Capture (DAC). Founded in 2022 in Turin, it has already successfully tested its process and is preparing to build its first industrial plant in Piedmont. With proprietary technology that drastically reduces energy consumption, CarpeCarbon makes CO₂ removal a concrete solution for decarbonization. Today, it has a team of 13 professionals, including engineers, physicists, chemists, and geochemists with international experience, united by the mission of removing atmospheric carbon dioxide already emitted in the past to combat climate change and restore a livable planet for future generations.

Being included in this selection reflects the progress achieved by our team and reinforces the vision we are building every day: making scalable, energy-efficient carbon removal a a concrete pillar of industrial decarbonization.
